J.W. Skinner Produce is a family-owned roadside produce business on the Wasatch Front, with stands in Bountiful, Centerville, and Kaysville, Utah. The business is owned by James Skinner. This policy explains how we handle personal information you share with us through skinnerproduce.com.
What information we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us on this site:
- Giveaway entries. When you enter a giveaway (such as our "free corn for a year" giveaway), we collect your name, phone number, email address, your social media handle, any screenshot you submit as proof of following or sharing, and your consent to be contacted about the giveaway.
- Job applications. When you apply to work with us, we collect your name, age, phone number, email address, and your availability.
- Basic technical data. Like most websites, our host may automatically log standard technical information (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site running and secure.
We do not collect payment information on this website. All purchases happen in person at the stand and are paid by cash or card — we never handle your card details online.
How we use it
- To run our giveaways — verify entries, choose and contact winners, and follow each giveaway's posted Official Rules.
- To review job applications and reach out if it looks like a good fit.
- To answer your questions and contact you when you've asked us to.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the site and our produce stands.
Who we share it with
We use a few trusted service providers to run the site and this business:
- Vercel — hosts our website.
- Vercel Blob — securely stores giveaway entries and job applications.
- Email delivery — if we email you (for example, to confirm a giveaway entry or follow up on an application), that email may be sent through an email delivery provider such as Resend or Google / Gmail.
We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it for anyone else's advertising. We share information only with the providers above, only to run this business, or when required by law.
Instagram / Meta note: Our giveaways are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, or Meta. Following us on social media is always optional.
Cookies & local storage
Our site stores a small amount of data in your browser's local storage — for example, to remember your progress in a form. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Data retention
We keep giveaway entries and job applications only as long as we need them for the purpose you shared them (running the giveaway or considering your application) and for our normal business records, then we remove them.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information you've given us. Just text or call James at (801) 671-5742 and we'll take care of it.
Children's privacy
We hire seasonal help, and some applicants are minors. If you are under 18, please apply with a parent or guardian's involvement. We handle a young applicant's information carefully and use it only to consider them for work. Our site is not designed to collect information from children beyond what a job application needs.

If we update this policy, we'll post the new version on this page and change the effective date shown at the top.
